摘要：Los curanderos cumplen un papel importante en el proceso terapéutico entre la población del Noroeste de Argentina (NOA). La brujería o el daño intencional es una de las categorías de enfermedad tradicionales en el área y a su vez una causa de muerte muy difundida. El objetivo de este trabajo es comprender las nociones y las técnicas llevadas a cabo por los curanderos en el marco de su sistema de creencias. Al mismo tiempo pone en evidencia la relevancia de la brujería como una forma inmanente de dar sentido al sufrimiento. Para ello el autor explora los significados del proceso de daño y los fenómenos asociados desde el punto de vista del nativo. Da especial énfasis a los rituales terapéuticos y a las representaciones culturales de la enfermedad y la terapia, a la manipulación de lo sagrado y a la calificación del tiempo y el espacio que los procesos terapéuticos requieren. Analiza la correspondencia entre las nociones de enfermedad-terapia y el sistema de creencias, el que en sentido amplio puede entenderse como una síntesis de ideas humorales y prácticas y nociones de raigambre católica. Finalmente el autor pone en contexto al daño intencional como un desequilibrio social que no puede ser entendido por fuera de la vida cotidiana de las comunidades en las que toma forma.
其他摘要：The curanderos play a crucial role in the therapeutic processes among the population of the North West of Argentina. The sorcery and witchcraft harm is one the traditional illnesses categories. The aim of this paper is to describe the notions and techniques performed by the curanderos. At the same time, it points out the relevance of the witchcraft as an immanent way to give sense to the suffering. For that, the author explores and reflects on the meaning of harm process and the associated phenomena from the native point of view. He especially takes into account the healing rituals and the cultural representations of illness and therapy, remarking the manipulation of the sacred, and the qualification of time and space that the healing process requires. Then, he analyses the correspondence between the illness notions and therapeutic procedures in the frame of believes system, which, in a broad outline, can be defined as the cultural synthesis between humoral medicine ideas (incorporated during the conquest days) and the therapeutic ritual and other believes and practices of Catholic roots. The author focuses on the harm as a social unbalance experience, which just can be understood in the context of the every day life.
