摘要：Las desigualdades sociales en América Latina, suelen explicarse con frecuencia mediante el desarrollo insuficiente de las instituciones, de la democracia y de la política social. El presente artículo se ocupa fundamentalmente de aquellos puntos de permanencia de las desigualdades sociales en la región, considerados como una expresión eficaz de formas de dominación y poder político. Asimismo, analiza cómo se puede aproximar analíticamente desde dicha perspectiva a la democracia y a la política social.
其他摘要：Social inequalities in Latin America are often explained by the insufficient development of institutions, democracy and social policy. This article deals fundamentally with those points of continuity of social inequalities in the region, considered as efficient expressions of forms of domination and political power. It also analyzes how democracy and social policy can be analytically approached from this perspective.
