摘要：Resumen El artículo tiene como objetivos fundamentales: a) describir los cambios que se han presentado en el comercio bilateral agroalimentario comparando los períodos antes y después del inicio de la gestión gubernamental presidida por Hugo Chávez, denominada revolución bolivariana; b) analizar las causas de la declinación del comercio bilateral agroalimentario, enfatizando en la responsabilidad que en los resultados obtenidos han tenido las políticas macroeconómicas y comerciales agrícolas adoptadas por Venezuela desde 1999.
其他摘要：The article has two main objectives: a) to describe the changes the international agro-food international trade between Colombia and Venezuela has experienced, by comparing the periods before and after the beginning of Hugo Chávez´s government: b) to analyse the causes behind the reduction of the agro-food trade between Colombia and Venezuela, by emphasizing the relationship between the outcome and the macroeconomic and trade policies implemented by Venezuela since 1999.
