摘要：Existe un amplio consenso en torno al hecho de que estamos viviendo una crisis global, simultáneamente medioambiental, energética, alimentaria, migratoria, bélica, y económica. En este quiebre histórico el asunto que está en juego no es si el capitalismo podrá o no recuperarse, sino la interrogante crucial de si la vida en el planeta podrá sobrevivir al modelo capitalista de crecimiento/destrucción. Se trata de una profunda crisis civilizatoria. Sin un freno a corto plazo de este patrón desbordado y una reorientación hacia el decrecimiento, la armonía con el resto de la vida y una radical redistribución del acceso a los bienes comunes del planeta, no está garantizada la continuidad de la vida humana a mediano plazo. Este texto está dividido en dos partes. En la primera se realiza una caracterización panorámica de la crisis del actual patrón civilizatorio hegemónico a partir de la exploración de las implicaciones que tiene el haber llegado a los límites físicos del planeta. En la segunda se exploran algunas de las principales (insostenibles) tendencias del régimen global de producción de alimentos. Es esta una de las dimensiones medulares de la crisis que hoy confronta la humanidad.
其他摘要：There a shared agreement regarding the fact that we are living a global crisis, simultaneously environmental, energetic, migratory, of food procurement, of war conflicts and economic. In this historical turning point the issue on play it is not whether capitalism could or not recover, but the crucial question is whether life in the planet could survive to the developmental and destructive capitalist model. It is indeed a profound civilizatory crisis. Without an stopping in short terms of this uncontainable pattern and a reorientation towards decreasing, harmony with the surrounding life and a radical redistribution of the access to the planet shared commodities, the continuity of human life is not no guaranteed in medium terms. This article is divided in two parts. In the first one, a panoramic characterization of the current crisis of the hegemonic civilizatory pattern assuming and exploring the implications of reaching the physical limits of the planet. In the second one it explores some of the main unsustainable tendencies of the global regimen of food production, being one of the medullar dimensions of the crisis confronted by humanity nowadays.
