摘要：Este artigo teve como objeto de investigação a educação tutorial no contexto de ensino-aprendizagem e pesquisa. Utilizou-se da abordagem metodológica do estudo observacional, com duas bases empíricas: um grupo de estudantes de Administração da FEA-USP, voltado para a utilização de um filme como recurso didático; o filme "Sociedade dos Poetas Mortos", dirigido por Peter Weir e lançado em 1989, escolhido por abordar o objeto de investigação proposto. Discutiu-se se a educação tutorial pode ser eficaz no campo de estudos sobre ensino-aprendizagem e pesquisa em Administração. Os resultados apontaram para a relevância da confluência das modalidades desse estudo, distinguindo-se a observação direta e participante com relação ao grupo e a indireta e não-participante com relação ao filme. O filme foi submetido à análise completa pelo grupo e contribuiu para criar um contexto de revitalização da educação tutorial no campo de estudos em Administração.
其他摘要：This study focused on tutorial education in the context of teaching and learning, and research. We report an observational study with two empirical bases: a group of administration students from FEA-USP, in-training for the use of film as a teaching resource; and the film "Dead Poets Society", directed by Peter Weir and released in 1989, chosen for its focus on tutorial education in the context of teaching and learning. It was discussed whether education tutorial can be effective in the fields of study in administrationinvolving teaching and learning, and research. The results pointed to the importance of the confluence of the modalities of this study, distinguishing direct and participant observation, with respect to the group, from indirect and nonparticipant observation, with respect to the film. The film was subjected to thorough analysis by the group and helped create a context for revitalizing tutorial education in studies of Business Administration.
