摘要：O presente artigo teve como objetivo promover uma discussão de cunho teórico e empírico acerca das relações de poder que envolvem o processo de Planejamento Estratégico organizacional, tomando como objeto de estudo o Laboratório Médico Santa Luzia. Para tanto, realizou-se uma pesquisa de abordagem qualitativa descritiva e estudo de caso. Foi feito um levantamento teórico sobre os dois principais temas do artigo - Poder e Planejamento Estratégico - para, então, averiguar na prática como se apresenta a presença das relações de poder nesse processo. Constatou-se que as relações de poder, que se apresentam no processo de Planejamento Estratégico, podem difi cultar sua realização (defi nição de estratégias pelo estilo top-down, resistência por parte dos representantes do poder informal da organização e mudança de gestão), assim como facilitar o processo (apoio da coalizão dominante formal). Dessa forma, as refl exões reunidas neste trabalho pretendem contribuir para a compreensão da dimensão do poder no processo de Planejamento Estratégico.
其他摘要：This article aims to promote a theoretical and empirical discussion about the power relations involving on the organizational Strategic Planning process, taking as an object of study, the Santa Luzia Medical Laboratory. It was conducted a qualitative descriptive approach and a case study. A theoretical survey on the two main themes of the Article - Power and Strategic Planning have being done to fi nd out in practice how the presence of power relations in this process takes place. It was found that power relations are given in the Strategic Planning process may hinder their implementation (defi nition of strategies for style top-down, resistance by the representatives of the informal organization and change management), as well as facilitate the process (formal support of the ruling coalition). Thus, refl ections collected in this study intended to contribute to the understanding of the dimension of power in the process of Strategic Planning.
