摘要：As pesquisas em gestão financeira de curto prazo são muito importantes para a construção do conhecimento nos modos de realizar a gestão fi nanceira das organizações. O presente artigo tem por objetivo analisar o emprego da metodologia quantitativa nesses estudos, buscado nas bases de dados gratuitas disponíveis. Encontraram-se 88 trabalhos que se encaixam nos estudos fi nanceiros de curto prazo, dos quais sete são dissertações e teses. Excluindo estes, 82% utilizam-se da abordagem quantitativa, con fi rmando assim a expectativa de que é o método dominante nesse tema, inserido na ciência administrativa. Verificouse, ainda, que os artigos, em sua grande parte, empregam de forma correta a abordagem quantitativa.
其他摘要：The researches on short-term fi nancial management are very important for the construction of knowledge in the ways of performing fi nancial management of organizations. This article aims to analyze the use of quantitative methodology in these studies, seeking the same in free databases available. Were found 88 studies that fi t the short-term fi nancial studies, where 07 are dissertations and theses. Excluding these, 82% are used in the quantitative approach thus con fi rming the expectation that this method is the dominant theme that is inserted in administrative science. It was also found that articles in his largely employ correctly the quantitative approach.
