摘要：A imprensa, de maneira geral, e especialmente o fotojornalismo, visam trazer cada vez mais à cena aquilo que se configura como segmentos "à margem" da sociedade, figurativizados nas diversas manifestações da exclusão, da periferia, enfim de uma série de categorizações (cujas especificidades semântico¿sociais este trabalho não objetiva discutir). Assiste¿se a uma classe de produções discursivas, de caráter midiático, que tem se empenhado em formalizar visualmente não apenas o relato de tais situações, mas, sobretudo, a sua forma de experimentá¿las. A questão precípua nessas propostas consiste justamente em resgatar, pelo exercício do sentido experimentado, a visibilidade daquilo que se tornou praticamente invisível em nossa sociedade pelo esgotamento de sua recorrente exposição. Define¿se, portanto, omo um regime condicionado aos modos de ver, que é tratado aqui pelo seu viés de "fazer sentido" e não apenas como a realização de uma mera presença diante do olhar. Abordar o regime da visibilidade implica reconhecer nos discursos visuais mecanismos de articulação de presenças e ausências concretizadas em atos de mostrar ou ocultar, assim como mostrar¿se ou ocultar¿se dependendo da instância de análise da imagem. Em suma, procedimentos submetidos às modalizações do poder e querer ser ou não ser visto. Para o desenvolvimento da presente reflexão, algumas imagens representativas de formas conflituosas de visibilidade serão analisadas. Essas imagens são passíveis de serem associadas à discussão da ausência e da presença na formalização do ver/ser visto, manifestada no nível plástico das imagens, em estreito vínculo com a constituição da própria subjetividade na esfera política e social das relações humanas.
其他摘要：The press, generally speaking, and especially the photojournalism, intends to bring up what is configured as segments from "the edge" of society, figurated in several manifestations of exclusion and borderline lives, in a number of categorizations (this work does not intend to discuss, however, the social¿semantic specifications). A class of discursive productions of mediatic nature is observed and has been shown as an effort in visually formalizing not only a description of these situations but, above all, a way of experimenting them. The main point in these works consists, precisely, in rescuing, through the practice of the experimented sense, the visibility of what has almost become invisible in our society by the debilitation of their recurrent exhibition. Thus these exhibitions are defined as a regime conditioned to the "ways of seeing", used here from the point of "making sense" and not only as the consummation of a simple presence in front of the eyes. To approach the regime of visibility implies in recognizing, in visual discourses, the mechanisms of articulation of presences and absences accomplished in acts of showing or hiding, just as showing itself or hiding itself, depending on the instance of the image analysis. In short, procedures submitted to the modalizations of eing able and wanting "to be or not to be" seen. For the development of the present idea, some images, representative of conflicting forms of visibility ill be examined. These images are capable of association with the discussion of the absence and the presence in the formalization of seeing/being seen, manifested in the plastic level of images, in close relation with the constitution of their own subjectivity in the circuit of human political and social dynamics.
