摘要：La necesidad de estudiar desde diferentes ángulos los fenómenos y hechos que ocurren en la sociedad es pertinencia de las ciencias sociales y una condición sine quanon para garantizar el desarrollo y conocimiento del mundo que nos rodea. Este trabajo de tipo analítico-descriptivo hace referencia a puntos de vista y resultados de investigaciones puntuales en el campo de la participación social y comunitaria para la solución de los problemas de salud. Identifica logros y limitaciones en ese campo en el quehacer del trabajo de la Atención Primaria de Salud. Las consideraciones finales destacan la necesidad de capacitación como alternativa de solución a los problemas identificados y destaca el tema como susceptible de nuevas aproximaciones teóricas y prácticas.
其他摘要：The need of studying from different angles the phenomena and events that occur in the society is inherent to the social sciences and a sine quanon condition to guarantee the development of and knowledge about the world that surrounds us. This analyticaldescriptive paper makes reference to points of view and results of several single research works in the field of social and community participation in the solution of health problems. It identifies achievements and restrictions in this field in primary health care work. Final considerations underline the need for training as an alternative for the solution of detected problems and state that this topic may be addressed with new theoretical and practical approaches.
