摘要：El desarrollo social y la revolución científico-técnica han determinado cambios radicales en la concepción de la medicina en Cuba. La necesidad de ser más eficientes en la calidad de la atención en los servicios de salud ha provocado el establecimiento de nuevos modelos organizativos en el sistema nacional de salud. Sin embargo, aún existen deficiencias subjetivas que repercuten de forma negativa en una atención de la mejor calidad. La necesidad urgente de reconstruir cuidadosamente la ética médica con la finalidad de abordar los nuevos conflictos que la tecnología médica y las políticas de salud en evolución introducen en la función del médico y en la gestión de salud, se hace impostergable. En las condiciones de Cuba hay certeza de una ética médica con un enfoque diferente. Se trata de la ética del equipo de salud en su conjunto, donde el médico es el líder pero todos tienen responsabilidad ante la organización de salud, la sociedad, el paciente, los familiares y la comunidad. Se origina así una interacción en doble sentido entre el equipo de salud y todos los factores de la sociedad. Se incluyen además, cambios en la relación médico-paciente. Una solución a estos problemas sería la implementación de protocolos de actuación asistencial en función de elevar la calidad de la atención. El valor de la solidaridad es la virtud fundamental en que se debe educar al médico y a los profesionales de la salud en todas las acciones de la práctica profesional, tanto en el ámbito nacional como internacional.
其他摘要：The social development and the scientific/technical revolution have brought about radical changes in the concept of medicine in Cuba. The need of being more efficient in the quality of healthcare services has prompted the setting of new organizational models for the national healthcare system. However, there are still subjective deficiencies that negatively affect a higher quality care. It is urgently required that medical ethics be carefully refurbished in order to face the new controversies that developing medical technology and health policies bring to the performance of physician and health management. According to Cuba's conditions, there certainly exists medical ethics with a different approach. It is the ethics of the health team as a whole where the physician is the leader but all the members are accountable to the health organization, the society, the patient, the family and the community as well. In that way, a two-way interaction between the health team and the rest of the community actors emerged. Furthermore, changes in the physician-patient relationship were included. One solution to this problem would be the implementation of assistance performance protocols with a view to raising the quality of care. The value of solidarity is the main virtue that should be learned by the physician and the health professionals to be appplied in all professional practice actions both at domestic and international contexts.
