摘要：Un análisis profundo de la historia de la psicología en cada país de Iberoamérica hace evidente su carácter singular, empero, también hay claras semejanzas. Con la finalidad de entenderlas, se hace un esfuerzo por ubicar ciertas etapas y adelantos originales. De hecho, se reconoce y se incluye en las referencias que, quizás más que en otros países de la región, buen número de psicólogos mexicanos han publicado artículos sobre la historia de su disciplina. Al recorrer las aportaciones, esto permite enumerar, por un lado, acontecimientos únicos, como la presencia de los refugiados españoles o la temprana contribución de Raúl Hernández-Peón a la psicofisiología, y por el otro, destacar el desarrollo y algunos descubrimientos de la etnopsicología mexicana.
其他摘要：A careful historical analysis of the growth of psychology in Iberoamerican countries clearly uncovers a blend of both unique and shared contributions. In order to grasp their extents, an attempt is directed at identifying particular stages and original advances in the Iberoamerican history of psychology. In fact, as pointed out and included in the references, many Mexican psychologists, maybe more than in other countries, have published about the history of psychology. Following the thread of history, we are able on one hand, to enumerate unique events, such as the Spanish refugees presence, or the early psychophisiological contributions of Raul Hernandez-Peon, on the other hand, on the sociocultural terrain, we describe the development and findings in derived from the Mexican ethnopsychology.
