摘要：El objetivo de la investigación fue estudiar la correlación existente entre tres técnicas de evaluación de imagen corporal, dos actitudinales (Cuestionario de Figura Corporal y la subescala de insatisfacción corporal del Inventario de Trastornos Alimentarios) y una perceptiva (Escala de Figuras), así como averiguar su capacidad predictiva de posible riesgo de trastorno de conducta alimentaria (TCA), medido mediante la prueba de Actitudes Alimentarias. Participaron 42 estudiantes universitarias cuya edad varió entre 19 y 35 años, de una universidad de la ciudad de Guadalajara, México. Los resultados mostraron que las dos escalas de medición actitudinales correlacionaron entre sí en mayor grado que con la técnica perceptiva. Las escalas actitudinales también correlacionaron en un grado más alto con el riesgo de TCA que la escala perceptiva. Dichos resultados fueron similares a los reportados en investigaciones anteriores y apuntan a que existe un constructo actitudinal de imagen corporal, que está relacionado con los TCA.
其他摘要：The purpose of this study was to measure correlations between 3 different body image assessment tools. Two questionnaires were attitudinal (Body Shape Questionnaire and Eating Disorder Inventory) and the other was perceptual (Body Image Assessment Scale). An additional purpose was to determine the correlation between each measure of body image with the risk of developing an eating disorder. Eating disorders were measured using the Eating Attitudes Test. 42 female undergraduate students volunteered for the study. Their ages were between 19 and 35 years. Results showed high positive correlations between both attitudinal tests, and between attitudinal tests and risk of developing an eating disorder. A smaller correlation was found between the perceptive test and the attitudinal tests, and between the perceptive test and the risk of developing an eating disorder. These results are similar to those of previous studies and point out that (1) an attitudinal construct exists for body image and (2) that the body-image construct is related to eating disorders.
