摘要：Con el presente artículo se reflexiona sobre la pretendida capacidad del naturalismo, en su acepción tanto cuantitativa como cualitativa, como vía única e infalible para abordar la porción de la verdad que es vislumbrada en la actividad investigativa. Desde una perspectiva hermenéutica se interpretan diferentes autores, para arribar por medio del análisis a sus ventajas y desventajas. Este trabajo no se podría hacer sin tocar los conceptos de verdad, realidad y naturaleza, por lo tanto son abordados. También contempla la inconveniencia de la discusión, heredera de la crítica al naturalismo positivista entre metodología cualitativa y cuantitativa. Se concluye que el naturalismo es usado tanto por "cualitativistas" y "cuantitativistas" de una manera reduccionista, al limitar la realidad (sensorial, espiritual y material) como expresión única de la materia, situación conveniente de evitar en un mundo donde convergen distintos discursos del saber configurando la transdisciplinaridad y transversalidad. Para obviar el reduccionismo se propone ampliar el término de lo empírico al abordaje no solo de lo experimental, sino de lo experiencial, por medio del cual se pueden lograr de igual forma la transmisión, reproducibilidad y verificabilidad provenientes de otras fuentes de realidades distintas a la material como son la mental y la espiritual.
其他摘要：This article reflects on the supposed capacity of naturalism in its quantitative as well as qualitative meaning, as a unique and infallible route for approaching the portion of truth that is glimpsed in research activity. From a hermeneutic perspective, different authors are interpreted in order to arrive at its advantages and disadvantages through analysis. This work could not be done without touching the concepts of truth, reality and nature, therefore they are addressed. Also, it contemplates the inconvenience of discussion, heir to criticism of positivist naturalism between qualitative and quantitative methodology. It concludes that naturalism is used as much by "qualitativists" as well as by "quantitativists" in a reductionist manner, on limiting reality (sensorial, spiritual and material) as a unique expression of the matter, a situation that should be avoided in a world where different discourses on knowledge converge, configuring transdisciplinarity and transversality To avoid reductionism, it is proposed to extend the term the empiric to take on not only the experimental, but also the experiential, by means of which transmission, reproducibility and verifiability may all be achieved, coming from other sources of realities different from the material, such as the mental or spiritual.
