摘要：El artículo que se presenta a continuación tiene como objetivo analizar el nivel de la brecha digital con relación a la difusión de las Tecnologías del Internet utilizadas para el acceso a la Sociedad Red en el Municipio Maracaibo. A través de una revisión bibliográfica se establecieron los principales conceptos y parámetros vinculados a la Difusión Tecnológica, la Brecha Digital y la Sociedad Red. Se realizó una encuesta en el Municipio Maracaibo del Estado Zulia en Venezuela. Para una población constituida por 1.372.724 de habitantes se utilizó una muestra de 277 sujetos aleatoria estratificada. Se aplicó un cuestionario estructurado y semi-cerrado. Se concluyó que en los niveles de difusión, sólo el 34.3% de la muestra tenían acceso a Internet y el 65.7%carecían de esta tecnología. Existe una Brecha Digital en la difusión de las tecnologías, donde la característica sociodemográficas de los usuarios de Internet, mayormente, son: niños y jóvenes, del sexo femenino, con niveles de estudio superior, de ocupación principalmente estudiantes y pertenecientes a la clase social C. el acceso se concentra en habitantes de parroquias urbanas de la zona ESTE de Maracaibo. Se recomienda impulsar la universalización del acceso a Internet, incentivar el desarrollo de contenidos nacionales en Internet, fomentar el desarrollo de las habilidades informacionales y establecer un sistema de indicadores de las TICs para Venezuela.
其他摘要：The purpose of the following article is to analyze the digital divide in the diffusion of Internet Technologies at the level of access to the network society in Maracaibo Municipality. Through a bibliographic review, the concepts and parameters related to the concepts of network society, digital divide and technological diffusion were established. A totally randomized and stratified survey of 277 subjects was made in the city of Maracaibo in Zulia State, Venezuela. The population consisted of 1,372,724 inhabitants who live in that city. The instrument was a structured and semi-closed questionnaire. The conclusions were that in relation to broadcasting levels, 34.3% of the sample had Internet access and 65.7% did not. There is a Digital Divide in the diffusion of the technology, where the sociological characteristics of Internet users is that the majority are: children and young people, female, with higher level education, mainly students who belonged to aClevel social class status. Access to Internet was concentrated in urban parishes on the east side of Maracaibo. The following proposals are recommended: promote universal access to Internet, encourage the development of national content on the Internet, foment the development of informational abilities and establish system indicators for ICTs in Venezuelan.
