标题：CARACTERIZACIÓN Y NIVEL DE CONOCIMIENTO DEL CUIDADOR INFORMAL DE USUARIOS CON DEPENDENCIA SEVERA ADSCRITOS AL CENTRO DE SALUD VIOLETA PARRA - CHILLÁN
摘要：El aumento de la población de personas dependientes condiciona la necesidad de un cuidador informal que brinde la atención que no pueden proveerse por sí mismos. Así surge la necesidad que dichos cuidadores tengan un nivel básico de conocimientos para cautelar la calidad de vida de los usuarios. El presente es un estudio descriptivo transversal, cuyo propósito fue identificar el nivel de conocimiento del cuidador informal de usuario con dependencia severa adscrito al centro de salud Violeta Parra de Chillán. El universo estuvo conformado por 58 cuidadores informales, obteniéndose una muestra de 40 cuidadores que cumplían con los criterios de inclusión. Los datos se recolectaron a través de visitas domiciliarias, donde se aplicó un instrumento compuesto de 5 ítemes: antecedentes demográficos del cuidador informal, prestaciones otorgadas por el centro de salud, evaluación del conocimiento del cuidador informal, sub-escala de depresión de Goldberg y entrevista sobre la carga del cuidador de Zarit. La prueba piloto se realizó en el Consultorio San Ramón Nonato, Chillán. La investigación se sustentó en la Teoría de Enfermería Virginia Henderson. Los resultados demuestran que 57% de los cuidadores posee nivel de conocimiento regular. El 97% corresponde a mujeres, 59% tiene entre 35-64 años, 32% tiene estudios básicos incompletos, 52% corresponde a dueñas de casa, 55% presenta depresión, 72% percibe su situación económica como regular, 34% desempeña la labor del cuidado entre 1 y 5 años, 55% presenta sobrecarga, 92% recibió visitas del profesional de enfermería y 97% del técnico paramédico, el 40% no participó de las capacitaciones realizadas por el centro asistencial. Para procesar los datos se utilizó el programa informático Excel y en el análisis estadístico se usaron frecuencias, porcentajes y medidas de tendencia central.
其他摘要：The increasing number of dependent people has conditioned the needs of having informal caregivers taking care of elderly or disabled people, therefore the need for these people to have a basic knowledge in order to protect the life quality of the patients. This paper shows a transversal descriptive research whose objective was to identify the informal caregiver knowledge level about patients with severe dependence registered in the theConsultorio Violeta Parra de Chillán. The group was formed by 58 informal caregivers (CI), from which a sample of 40 Caregivers was obtained, which fulfilled with the inclusion criteria. Data were collected on May 2008, through home visits, where a questionnaire that included five items was applied. These items were: demographic background of the informal caregiver, cares offered by the Health Center, knowledge evaluation of the informal caregiver, Goldberg's Sub-scale of depression, Zarit's interview of caregiver mental burden. Previous to data a pilot test was done in the Consultorio San Ramón Nonato, Chillán. The research was supported by Virginia Henderson's Theory. Results show that 57% of caregivers have a regular knowledge level. 97% are women; 59% are between 35-64 years old; 32% have incomplete elementary school education;52% are housewives; 55% suffer from depression; 72% perceive their present economic situation asregular and 34% have been working in this job from 1 to 5 years. 55% of caregivers present overburden. 92% receive professional visits of registered nurses, 97% of paramedical technicians and 40% have not participated in training courses offered by the Health Center. Excel was used to process data and in the statistical analysis, frequencies, percentages and central tendency measures were used.
