摘要：Dada la reciente inquietud del mercado de valores español que seguía un rumbo contrario a los mercados internacionales y que culminó con la reciente dimisión del presidente del órgano supervisor del mismo por temas relativos a la transparencia en el mercado, hemos considerado adecuado la realización de este artículo para intentar arrojar algo de luz sobre el tema de profundidad y transparencia en el mercado de valores español. De esta forma, y después de una concienzuda revisión de la literatura hemos contrastado la relación entre la transparencia y profundidad en los mercados financieros y establecido una tipología de las empresas que cotizan en el Ibex-35 en función de sus características de transparencia y profundidad
