标题：Estudio comparativo de la prestación de servicios de salud en el tercer nivel de atención en Manizales, antes y después de la suspensión de servicios del Hospital de Caldas. 2004
摘要：Estudio de tipo descriptivo, retrospectivo y comparativo el cual se realizó con el propósito de comparar la prestación de los servicios de salud de hospitalización, consulta externa y urgencias en el tercer nivel de atención para la población pobre no asegurada, antes y después de la suspensión de los servicios en el Hospital de Caldas. Las instituciones en las cuales se realizó la evaluación fueron: Clínica Villapilar, Hospital Santa Sofía y Hospital de Caldas. También se examinó alguna información del Hospital Geriátrico San Isidro y de Asbassalud, que aunque son instituciones de primer nivel de atención fueron soporte importante en el apoyo de la contingencia. Igualmente se analizaron algunos indicadores de calidad de los servicios prestados como: mortalidad e infección intrahospitalaria, cirugías represadas, entre otros. Los datos se obtuvieron de los registros estadísticos de las instituciones antes mencionadas. Los resultados mostraron que, aunque el Hospital Santa Sofía y la Clínica Villapilar realizaron esfuerzos para compensar la carencia de servicios por la suspensión de éstos en el Hospital de Caldas a la población pobre no asegurada, no han sido suficientes los servicios de consulta especializada, cirugías y servicios de apoyo entre otros; situación que incidió además, en el deterioro de algunos indicadores de calidad como mortalidad intrahospitalaria e infección intrahospitalaria.
其他摘要：The present study was aimed at comparing the benefits of the third-level health services offered to the non-insured population prior and after the interruption of the services at the Hospital de Caldas. The Villapilar Clinic, the Santa Sofía Hospital, and the Hospital de Caldas located in the city of Manizales, were the institutions where the evaluations pertaining to this study took place. Additionally, information from the Hospital Geriátrico San Isidro and of Assbasalud, that even though they are institutions of first—level attention, they were an important support when the eventually arose. Some indicators of quality related to the services offered were also analyzed such as the intra- hospital infection and mortality, the waiting time for doctors` appointments, and accumulated among surgeries others. The data were obtained from the statistical records of the institutions previously mentioned, and from a provisional survey made to the users and health care professionals who are currently working at the institutions mentioned above. The analyses showed that, although efforts have been carried out in order to compensate the lack of services that the Hospital de Caldas was offering to the noninsured poor population, such efforts have not been enough. Therefore, there has been a deficit, and this situation is getting worse along with the deterioration of some indicators of quality.
