摘要：O objetivo deste artigo é analisar a política de assistência social e suas deliberações, como o Sistema Único de Assistência Social, que institui como um dos seus eixos estruturantes a matricialidade sociofamiliar, abordando as contradições e paradoxos conceituais e práticos desse eixo, que pode promover retrocessos no campo assistencial, mas também avanços se trabalhado numa perspectiva de totalidade. Conclui-se que não basta ter a família como centralidade da política; reconhecer sua pluralidade de formas e singularidades; são necessários serviços públicos de acesso universal dirigidos à família que secundarize suas funções de reprodução social.
其他摘要：This paper analyzes the social assistance policy and its ́ decisions, such as the Unified Social Assistance, which has established as one of its ́ main structural axes the familiar social matrix, by addressing the conceptual and the practical contradictions and paradoxes of this axis. This fact can cause setbacks in the assistance area but also can present advances if working on a whole perspective. It is perceived that having the family as the center of the policy is not enough. It is necessary to recognize its ́ plurality of forms and singularities. Besides, the families need to have Universal access to the policies directed to the families as a whole instead of highlightening it ́s social reproduction role.
