摘要：Aunque la actual diócesis de Belley-Ars fue creada en 1822 sus frutos de santidad tienen una historia de más de 1500 años. El trabajo analiza el desarrollo del catolicismo en el territorio del Ain donde se encuentra Lyon y Vienne sedes conciliares de gran tradición católica. En este recorrido se pueden destacar los inicios del cristianismo y la figura de san Martín de Tours, la reforma monástica (con el influjo de Cluny y el proliferar de las cartujas), y la reforma católica del siglo xvii con los personajes señeros de san Francisco de Sales y san Vicente de Paúl. Luego, analiza sucintamente la vida del Cura de Ars para pasar en un segundo momento a explicar el estado del catolicismo francés en tiempos del santo, mostrando las dificultades a las que se enfrentó.
其他摘要：The fruits of sanctity in Belley-Ars have a long history that goes back more than 1500 years, although the actual diocese of Belley-Ars was erected only in 1822. This article discusses the development of Catholicism in the territory of Ain, where Lyon and Vienne, both conciliar sees of great Catholic tradition, are situated. The discussion highlights the beginnings of Christianity, the figure of St. Martin of Tours, the monastic reform (influenced by Cluny and the growth of the Carthusians), and the Catholic reform of the 17th century, with its standard bearers, St. Francis of Sales and St. Vincent de Paul. It also briefly discusses the life of the Curé of Ars in order to explain the condition of French Catholicism in those years and difficulties that the saint experienced.
