摘要：El autor se plantea si el método analítico que subyace en la constitución Gaudium et spes (1965) puede servir también como método para la historia de la Iglesia, claro es que en cualquier época o en conjunto. Sucesivamente examina el carácter ético de toda opción metodológica; el papel central de las acciones humanas tanto en el devenir como en el saber histórico; la posibilidad de combinar una concepción cíclica de la historia (multicíclica) con una concepción de la propia historia como proceso acumulativo y, en suma, progresivo; el concepto de «altura de la historia» y el de «signos de los tiempos». Todo eso lo refiere a la historia de la Iglesia (como historia de la salvación) y a la historia del mundo y a la relación entre ambas.
其他摘要：The author poses the question whether the analytical method underlying the constitution Gaudium et spes (1965) may be used also for studying the history of the Church (in any epoch or as a whole). The author successively examines the ethical character of any methodological choice, the central role of human actions in both the development of history and the knowledge of history, the possibility of combining a cyclical conception of history with a conception of history a cumulative or progressive process, and also the concepts of «vertical history» and of the «signs of the times». All this is applied by the author to Church history (as history of salvation) and world history, as well as to the relationship between both.
