摘要：Este artigo destina-se a traçar qual a função cumprida pelo Parlamento do Mercosul (Parlasul) no Mercosul. Primeiramente, o trabalho discute a experiência europeia de fortalecimento da estrutura parlamentar. Em seguida, o trabalho analisa de que forma os atos produzidos pelos parlamentares do Parlasul influenciam na estratégia de fortalecimento da instituição.
其他摘要：This article aims to outline what is the function performed by the Mercosur Parliament (Parlasur) in Mercosur. Firstly, the paper discusses the European experience of empowering the parliamentary structure. Then, it analyzes in which way the acts produced by the members of the Parlasur influence the institution-strengthening strategy.
