摘要：El propósito central del artículo consiste en analizar la teoría del Neorrealismo o del realismo estructuralista de las Relaciones Internacionales, considerando las interacciones entre los estados, el origen de la teoría, la estructura del sistema internacional y su evolución desde el siglo XVII hasta la actualidad, las capacidades de los estados y el peso específico que esas capacidades tienen para lograr estados de equilibrio estables o inestables en el sistema internacional.
