摘要：En este artículo se aborda el tema del cambio que se está produciendo en el concepto del cono-cimiento en los primeros años del siglo XXI. Ese cambio se ubica en un período con varias fechas de inicio: la caída del muro de Berlín en 1989, la disolución de la URSS en 1991, el despliegue oficial de internet con la creación de la web en 1995, el proceso de expansión conflictivo que atraviesan el mundo y la economía capitalistas y, con antecedentes más lejanos, el desarrollo de un nuevo tipo de análisis sociológico que se remonta a los estudios a Alain Touraine (1969) y Daniel Bell (1973), continuándose con la obra de Peter Drucker, y Manuel Castells, entre otros. Esos autores han insistido en la diferencia que media entre información y conocimiento, enten-diendo a este último como una capacidad cognitiva de las personas, en tanto que las elaboracio-nes discursivas que tienen forma física en los libros o artículos de revista, así como las que circulan profusamente por la web no serían más que información. Tal diferencia no es, sin embar-go, ingenua, ya que contradice abiertamente el concepto del conocimiento que prevaleció en el siglo pasado cuando se llamaba conocimiento a lo que hoy se califica como información.
其他摘要：This article discusses the change in the concept of scientific knowledge in the first years of the twentieth century. In this change several key dates can be identified. The destruction of the Berlin wall in 1989, the collapse of the Soviet Union in 1991, the official launching of Internet with the creation of the Web in 1995, the conflictive expansion of the capitalist economy and, with more distant roots, the development of a new type of sociological analysis initiated by Alaine Touraine (1969) and Daniel Bell (1973), and continued in the work of Peter Drucker and Manuel Castells, among others. These authors have insisted on the difference between information and knowledge, the latter being understood as a cognitive capacity of people, while discursive elaborations such as those found in books and journals and that now circulate profusely in the Web are no more than information. This difference is not, however, ingenuous, because it clearly contradicts the concept of knowledge prevailing in the twentieth century when what is now called information was considered knowledge.
