摘要：Os cambios sociais acontecidos en España desde os anos 50 do século XX tiveron un especial impacto nun medio rural que se viu sometido a un paulatino proceso de abandono. O artigo tenta demostrar como as políticas de desenvolvemento rural que se levaron a cabo desde a incorporación de España á Unión Europea tiveron como obxectivo inicial a implantación dun novo modelo de produción agrícola, pero remataron dando pe ó desenvolvemento no territorio español da nova forma de turismo denominado "sostible". Contemplado inicialmente como un medio para desenvolver as zonas rurais, este modelo de turismo presenta unhas peculiaridades que o converten en non poucas ocasións non nun medio para garantir ese desenvolvemento das zonas deprimidas do medio rural, senón nun fin en si mesmo que consume unha notable cantidade de recursos e que pode provocar efectos negativos alí onde se desenvolve.
其他摘要：The social changes that took place in Spain since the fifties had an special impact in a rural enviroment that was subject to a gradual abandoning. This article tries to show how the rural development policies that were carried out since the incorporation of Spain in the European Union had as their first objective the implementation of a new agrarian production system, and they finished originating a new way of tourism known as "sustainable" in Spain. Firstly it was understood as a tool to develop rural areas, but this model of turism has some peculiarities that make it not just a way to guarantee the development of run-down areas, but an aim in and of itself that consumes a big amount of resources and that can cause negative effects where it developes.
