摘要：En los últimos años el sector del turismo ha experimentado notables cambios, siendo uno de los más importantes la diversificación de la oferta turística fruto de las variaciones en los gustos de la demanda. Como resultado surge, entre otros, el turismo rural, que ha alcanzado un importante desarrollo en la Comunidad Autónoma de Galicia. El objetivo principal de este trabajo es caracterizar la evolución de este sector durante el período 1993-2000 a través del análisis de la oferta y la demanda del turismo rural. Adicionalmente, en este trabajo se estudia el turismo rural gallego con una perspectiva comparada desde dos vertientes: por una parte, en relación con el turismo rural español en 2001 y, por otra, en relación con el sector del turismo gallego en su conjunto. Los resultados muestran la favorable evolución del turismo rural en Galicia, que durante todo el período ha experimentado un importante ritmo de crecimiento de la oferta y la demanda. Además, el turismo rural gallego representa actualmente una importante cuota del mercado nacional y presenta algunas diferencias respecto al sector del turismo gallego global.
其他摘要：In the last years the tourist sector has experienced notable changes, being one of the most important the diversification of the tourist supply driving by the diversification of demand tastes. One of the result, among others, is rural tourism, has largely developed in Galicia. The principal aim of this work is to characterize the evolution of the Galician rural tourist sector during the period 1993-2000 through the analysis of demand and supply. Additionally, rural tourism in Galicia is studied under two perspectives: a first one, relating it to the Spanish rural tourism in 2001 and, a second one, relating it to Galician global tourist sector. The results show the favourable evolution of rural tourism in Galicia, which during the whole period has experienced an important pace of supply and demand growth. Moreover, the rural Galician tourism nowadays registers an important quota of the national tourist market and presents some differences respect to the Galician global tourist sector.
