摘要：Estimar o impacto do turismo nunha sociedade significa considerar tanto os beneficios coma oscustos asociados á actividade turística. Sen dúbida, o turismo reviste unha importancia económica e social decisiva; porén, o crecemento da actividade turística foi acompañado por dificultades importantes en termos de emisión de gases de efecto invernadoiro, de consumo de auga, de vertidos de auga non tratada, de xeración de residuos, de danos á biodiversidade terrestre e mariña ou da ameaza para a supervivencia da cultura ou das tradicións locais. Na maioría das análises económicas do turismo incídese sobre os beneficios derivados do gasto directo dos turistas, sen detectar nin a existencia de impactos indirectos nin de efectos ambientais. O noso obxectivo é ofrecer unha aproximación ao impacto ambiental da actividade turística a partir da estimación da xeración de residuos vinculada ao consumo dos non residentes. Para satisfacer o vector de demanda final turística necesitamos producir toda unha serie de bens e servizos, e no transcurso desta produción obtemos non só eses bens, senón tamén toda unha serie de residuos físicos que devolvemos á natureza. A partir dunha ampliación do modelo inputoutput é posible bter unha estimación dos residuos xerados directa e indirectamente polo consumo dos visitantes non residentes. Con fins ilustrativos, aplícase o modelo á economía galega.
其他摘要：Estimating the impact of tourism on an economy means to estimate both benefits and costs a ssociated with tourism. Without any doubt, tourism has a huge economic and social importance. However, the growth of tourism has been accompanied by significant drawbacks in terms of emission of greenhouse gases, water consumption, untreated water, physical waste, damage to terrestrial and marine biodiversity or threat to the survival of culture and traditions. Most of the economic analyses of tourism impacts are focused on the benefits of the expenditure of the visitors, without taking into account the existence of indrect impacts or environmental effects. The aim of this article is to make an approach to the environmental impact of tourism through an estimation of the waste generation from the consumption of non-residents. To satisfy the touristic final demand vector the economy needs to produce a range of goods and services.During this production we get not only goods but also physical waste that we return to the environment. Through an extension of the traditional input-output model, it is possible to obtain the waste generated directly and indirectly by the consumption of non-resident visitors. For practical purposes, we apply the model to the Galician economy.
