摘要：La vida de los colombianos con el transcurrir de los años se ha ido constituyendo identitariamente por medio de lugares y fechas comunes. Una de esas fechas es el 9 de abril de 1948. Pero esta investigación, más allá de centrarse en los pormenores de la vida del líder liberal que falleció ese fatídico día, Jorge Eliécer Gaitán, y las consecuencias de su muerte como tal, se detiene en la forma gráfica en que el periódico El Siglo, El Tiempo y la revista Cromos se refirieron a los hechos ocurridos entorno a la muerte del líder, y cómo fue cambiando con el transcurrir de los años la propuesta fotográfica presentada en estos, entre 1948 y 1973.
其他摘要：The life of Colombians has established itself throughout the years in an identitarian way through common places and important dates. One of those dates is the 9th of April of 1948. But this investigation, more than just concentrating on the details of the life of the liberal leader who died on this fateful day, Jorge Eliecer Gaitan, and the consequences of his death in itself, pauses and reflects on the graphic form in which the newspapers El Siglo and El Tiempo and the magazine Cromos have presented the death of this leader and the surrounding circumstances; and how between 1948 and 1973 photographic presentations have changed in those publications.
