摘要：El presente trabajo tiene como objetivo aportar al debate sobre si la migración contribuye a alcanzar mayores niveles de desarrollo económico y al mi|smo tiempo, disminuir los niveles de pobreza en las comunidades rurales en México. En la literatura revisada, se percibe la no existencia de un consenso claro acerca de los posibles impactos que un mayor volumen de remesas pueden estar generando en los países receptores. Para establecer con precisión el funcionamiento de las comunidades rurales y sus rasgos socioeconómicos se desarrollan matrices de contabilidad social (MCS), y posteriormente se realiza un análisis de impacto mediante el análisis de multiplicadores. Lo que se encuentra es que el impacto de las remesas en el desarrollo local esta limitado por su baja capacidad para generar efectos de interdependencia en el conjunto de actividades de las comunidades rurales, lo que pudiera ser el resultado de una escasa integración en estas, así como por la inexistencia de infraestructura física e instituciones financieras que permitan reciclar las remesas localmente.
其他摘要：This paper aims to contribute to the debate over whether migration contributes to achieve higher levels of economic development and at the same time, reduce poverty levels in rural communities in Mexico. In the literature, is perceived the nonexistence of a consensus about the possible impacts that be generating a greater volume of remittances in recipient countries. To establish precisely the functioning of rural communities and their socio-economical characteristics is develop a Social Accounting Matrix (SAM), and later on it¿s carried out an analysis of impact by means of multipliers analysis. It was found that the impact of remittances on local development is limited by its low capacity to generate effects of interdependence in the activities related to rural communities, which may be the result of a poor integration between them, as well as by the nonexistence of physical infrastructure and financial institutions that allow the local recycled of remittances.
