摘要：Además de la producción de madera y leña, para la valoración del Parque Chaqueño Seco, es importante determinar su capacidad para fijar carbono y ofrecer otros productos no maderables. Un primer paso para ello es la construcción de funciones que permiten estimar la biomasa aérea individual de sus árboles y arbustos. Aquí se presentan los resultados de las determinaciones de biomasa por pesada directa en 30 quebrachos blancos (Aspidosperma quebrachoblanco) de dos sitios del Parque Chaqueño Seco en la Provincia de Santiago del Estero, Argentina. Mediante técnicas de regresión (mínimos cuadrados lineales y no lineales y utilizando diversas variables indepen-dientes, entre ellas una dummy para representar la localidad) se seleccionó una ecuación que permite estimar el peso seco individual total en función del diámetro y el sitio. También se estudiaron relaciones estructurales para describir la forma de la especie en los dos sitios.
其他摘要：Further the production of wood and firewood, to value the forest in the Dry Chaco, is important to determinate its capacity to sink carbon and to offer other non-timber products. A first step to this knowledge is to construct functions to estimate the individual over-ground biomass of its trees and shrubs. Here the results of the biomass determinations by complete weight in 30 quebrachos blancos (Aspidosperma quebracho-blanco) in two localities of the Dry Chaco Region in Santiago del Estero, Argentina, are presented. A function was selected using regressions methods (lineal and nolineal least squares with different independent variables, a dummy among them to express the site), to estimate individual total dry weight with diameter and site as independent variables.
