摘要：El autor describe de modo esquemático las tareas prioritarias que tienen las Universidades de América Latina ante los nuevos escenarios que afectan sus condiciones internas de operación. Las dimensiones centrales de análisis son las relaciones de las universidades con el conocimiento, la sociedad y la formación humana de los estudiantes. Plantea que el ejercicio de la autonomía responsable de las Universidades seguirá siendo el mejor testimonio y el mejor medio para incrementar la auto-regulación versus la intervención sin límites del Estado.
其他摘要：The author describes schematically the high-priority tasks that have the Latin American universities facing the new scenes that affect their internal conditions of operation. The central dimensions of analysis are the relations of the universities with the knowledge, the society and the human education of the students. It establishes that the exercise of the responsible autonomy of the Universities will continue being the best testimony and best means to increase the self-regulation versus the intervention without limits of the State.
