摘要：A partir de una imagen más poética que rigurosamente antropológica, el autor centra el tema de la lentitud en el origen del movimiento de los grandes animales prehistóricos. Un primer emergente de ello es la paciencia, noción que se liga estrechamente con la de la lentitud y muy pronto se hace casi moral. Una noción de ritmo se impone y ese movimiento habría sido el natural para los predecesores de los humanos. Desde luego, ni en ese momento ni cuando ya la lentitud está instalada como propia de ciertos desplazamientos puede entenderse si no es en relación con la velocidad: de ese juego, aquel esbozo de concepto, el del ritmo, toma forma y se impone paulatinamente hasta regir no sólo toda vida, la individual y la social, sino hasta hacer inteligible todo transcurso.
其他摘要：From a more poetic than a strictly anthropological image, the author focuses the theme of slowness on the origin of movement of the large prehistoric animals. A first result of this is patience, a notion that is closely linked to that of slowness and very soon becomes moral. A notion of rhythm is set and that movement would have been natural for the predecessors of humans. Of course, not at that moment nor when slowness is seen as typical of certain movements can it be understood if it is not in relation to speed. From this interplay, that sketch of the concept, that of rhythm, takes shape and is gradually imposed until it governs not only all life, individual and social, but also until it makes all passing of time intelligible.
