摘要：Se analiza la educación superior a distancia de acuerdo con los escenarios tecnológicos que acompañan a la sociedad del conocimiento en los albores del siglo XXI. Se subrayan algunos aspectos de la problemática de la educación a distancia en América Latina y posibles vías de acercamiento así como supeditar las tecnologías a los programas y los sujetos presentes en las relaciones educativas, independientemente de que sea presencial o a distancia, como elementos claves en el horizonte de la sociedad del conocimiento, caracterizada por un sistema educativo híbrido de aprendizajes significativos y gestión de conocimientos.
其他摘要：The distance higher education is analyzed in accordance with the technological stages that they accompany to the society of knowledge in the beginnings of the XXI century. Some aspects of the problems of the distance education in Latin America are underlined as well possible roads of approach placing the technologies underneath to the programs and the persons present in the educational relationships, independently that it is witness or to distance, like key elements in the horizon of the society of knowledge, characterized by an educational hybrid system of significant learnings and management of knowledge.
