摘要：A través del matrimonio católico se procuró en Hispanoamérica ordenar y moralizar a una sociedad mestiza que terminó generando mecanismos propios de relaciones afectivas. Para el caso de las mujeres el papel de sumisión impuesto chocó con las diversas actuaciones que realizaron en el ámbito social y económico. El presente artículo tiene el propósito de poder comparar las prácticas sociales referentes al matrimonio de un grupo de mujeres coloniales con el imaginario social del «buen amar».
其他摘要：The implantation of Catholic marriage in America sought to structure and moralize a mixed- race society that ended up creating its own means of establishing sentimental relationships. For women, the submissive role imposed on them clashed with their diverse activities in the social and economic realm. This article compares social practices under the institution of marriage of a group of colonial women with the social imaginary of «proper love».
