摘要：El presente artículo aborda -mediante la aplicación de cuestionarios a niños(as) y jóvenes en las escuelas de las comunidades de San Sebastián Nicananduta y Chilapa de Díaz, de la mixteca oaxaqueña- la percepción que tienen de la migración y las perspectivas que ven para su futuro. Se encuentra que hay un sentimiento ambivalente hacia la migración. Se conocen y se señalan sus beneficios económicos, pero también se manifiestan los problemas que acarrea, en términos del riesgo para los migrantes y para la unidad familiar. No obstante, se advierte que no hay una visión idílica del "norte" y una expresión de interés para el futuro únicamente hacia ese destino. El futuro bien podría construirse en lugares externos al pueblo, pero dentro del país, en donde se pudiese trabajar y estudiar. También se aprecia que son las mujeres quienes manifiestan principalmente esa opción, en oposición a los varones.
其他摘要：Through the application of questionnaires to students of the schools of San Sebastián Nicananduta and Chilapa de Diaz in the Oaxacan mixtec region the article deals with the perception of migration and the plan for the future of those students. We find that there is an ambivalent feeling towards migration. Students are clearly aware of the economic benefits but also of the problems of this phenomenon; problems with the safety of the migrants and with the future of their families. We also found that there isn't an idilic vision of the "north" seen by the fact that students don't necessarily see themselves living in the U.S.A. Some students would prefer to continue in the country, outside the community, studying and working in a city where work and study could be an option. These ideas are mainly seen in the women of this group.
