摘要：Se ha reportado que los alumnos mexicanos que ingresan al primer año de primaria no cuentan con las habilidades básicas para la lectoescritura. Para dar cuenta de si esas deficiencias se encuentran desde el nivel preescolar, en este trabajo se evaluó, a través del Test Illinois de Aptitudes Psicolingüísticas, a 60 niños que estaban inscritos en primero y tercer grado de dicho nivel. Ninguno de los pequeños de ambos grados logró obtener en todas las pruebas del instrumento una edad psicolingüística acorde con su edad cronológica. Las habilidades menos desarrolladas en primero fueron la comprensión y asociación auditivas y la comprensión visual, en tanto que, en tercero, los déficits principales se hallaron en la asociación y memoria auditivas y en la integración visual.
其他摘要：It has been reported that Mexican students who enter the first year at elementary school do not have the basic abilities for reading and writing. In order to identify if these deficiencies exist since pre-school, in this work 60 children in first and third grade of this level, were evaluated through the Illinois Test of Pscycholinguistic Abilities. None of the children from both grades achieved in all the test a suitable psycholinguistic age according to their chronological age. The less developed abilities in first grade were auditory comprehension and association, as well as visual comprehension, and as for the third graders,the principal deficits were auditory association and memory and visual integration.
