摘要：La educación superior impartida en instituciones particulares tiene un creciente papel como parte de la oferta educativa en su conjunto (para México en los últimos treinta años). El artículo pretende analizar la importancia de estos efectos en cuanto a diferentes estructuras, como la articulación entre sector público-sector privado, generación de capital humano y potencial de desarrollo, las tendencias globales sobre el asunto y las reformas de corte neoinstitucional. Si bien se insiste en la importancia de la educación superior para el desarrollo social y el papel de la universidad pública, se suele menospreciar la importancia que desempeña el sector privado en el mismo nivel. El artículo pretende también conducir la reflexión hacia una agenda que beneficie los potenciales de la educación superior privada respondiendo a los desafíos y transformaciones de la actualidad.
其他摘要：Higher education in private institutions is now becoming more important as a part of the education offer as a whole (for México in the last thirty years). This article seeks to analyze the importance of these effects as for different structures like the articulation between the public and private sectors, the generation of human resources and its development potential, global tendencies on matters and reforms of neo institutional nature. Although there is a lot of insistence on the importance of higher education to social development and on the role of the public university, the role of the private institution is often underestimated. The article also seeks to direct reflection towards an agenda that benefits private higher education potentials responding to present challenges and transformations.
