其他摘要:The altitudes of young and old people towards old people were studied using an adaptation of the Tuckman-Lorge scale. The subjects were 200 young people and 200 old people. Subjects were divided by age and social class. Results indicate that attitudes arevery nagative in all cases. All differences are statístícally significant at the. 0l level: young people have more favorable attitudes than old people; upper middle class subjects have more favorable attitudes than lower middle class, both in the case of young and old age. In spite of the exploratory nature of the study, the importance of the area of gerontological psychology is indicated
