  • 其他摘要:An experiment carried out on elite professionals (León, 1976a), permitting a comparison of their reactions to several "intrinsic" and "extrinsic" factors of a simulated job, was replicated in two samples of young adults with some work experience who were participating in training programs for whíte-collar and blue-collar jobs, respectively. As in the case of the professional samples, it was found that, in general, the impact of the intrinsic factors was greater than that of the extrinsic factors on both anticipated job satisfaction and subjective probability of accepting the jobo On the other hand, the data supported the hypothesis that the samples would react like their American occupatíonal counterparts. In fact, it was found that the impact of the intrinsíc factors was greater in the white-collar sample than in the bIue-collar sample, while the impact .of extrinsic factors was greater in the blue-eollar sample than in the whíte-collar sample. The hypotheses, however, were not ídentically supported by the anticipated satisfactíon data and the subjeetive probability of acceptance data. These and the other findings were discussed.
