其他摘要:Thi! paper presents a "problem-posing" methodology foil HIV IAIDS education based on the techniques and philosophical approach developed by the Brazilian educator Paulo Freire. Modeled after nonformal education teehníque called the "reading circle", which was developed by Freire ror literacy campaigns in Tbird World countries, this methodology is appropriate for developing culturally-sensitlve educatiooal material. and effecting behavior change among individuals with Iíttle or no formal educatíon: it tends to be more effeetive in modifying behavior than traditional methods of health education.
