其他摘要：The comparison of Latin American "traditional" culture, and Anglo American "modern" culture has been carried out by the senior author and his collaborators during many years. The aim of thís artícle ís to present 3 instrumenta, that can be very useful in cross-cultural paycbological research, and have been proved in prevíous Investígatíons: the Webwork, the Philosophy of Life, and the Inventory of Socíocultural Premisses. The origin and development of eacb instrument is presented, induding its usefulness in research. Although tbe large majority of the work witb the 3 instruments have been done comparing Mexico and the USA, the usefulness is not limited to that researcb context
