其他摘要:The main criticisms against the behavior analysis applied lo education are presented: adapting the student to the "established" educational system; emphasis on simple behaviors; emphasis on conformity and not on creativity and divergent thinking. The relation of applied behavior analysís to the ideology of social change in Latin America, is analyzed, particulary from the point of view of Freire´s educational philosophy. It is considered that although applied behavior analysis has not contributed very much to social change in Latin Ameríca, there are many possible ways of collaboration. The approach can be very usefulrand the direction of the applications depend on the behavior modifiers themselves.
