El presente texto toma como punto de partida la discusión elaborada por Carl Schmitt en su libro El concepto de lo político; se retoman argumentos centrales de su escrito, y, después de realizar una revisión de varios de los principales argumentos de otros teóricos de su época (Albert Camus, con su noción de rebeldía; Jacques Derrida, con los conceptos de lo eventual y loposible, y Max Weber, con el presupuesto de su político profesional), se discute con ellos, a fin de de evidenciar el carácter transitorio de la fundamentación de lo político desde la postura schmittiana. En último lugar, se exponen las conclusiones más relevantes del escrito.

This paper begins with the discussion developed by Carl Schmitt in his book The Concept of the Political (Der Begriff des Politischen - Original German Title) and its main arguments. After a review of the main arguments by other theorists of his time (Albert Camus with his notion of rebellion, Jacques Derrida with the concepts of possible and eventual, and Max Weber to the intentions of politic as a vocation), said arguments are discussed with the objective of proving the transitory nature of the substance of political issues from a Schmittian perspective. Finally, we present the major conclusions of the document.
