标题：Autoestima y relaciones interpersonales en jóvenes estudiantes de primer semestre de la División Salud de la Universidad del Norte, Barranquilla (Colombia)
摘要：Objetivos: Determinar la influencia de la autoestima (autoconcepto, autorrespeto y autoaceptación) con la afectotimia o relaciones interpersonales en jóvenes estudiantes de I semestre de la División Salud de la Universidad del Norte, Barranquilla, 2005. Metodología: Estudio descriptivo transversal con análisis de cohorte. Se utilizó un cuestionario y el test 16 PF, a 100 jóvenes estudiantes de medicina y enfermería entre los 15 20 años. Variables estudiadas: demográficas, autoestima (autoconcepto, autorespeto, autoaceptación), afectotimia. Resultados: El promedio de edad de los estudiantes fue 18,48 años (DE ± 1,13), el 71% de sexo femenino, 29% masculino. El 73% tienen un autoconcepto adecuado, el resto inadecuado. En cuanto el auto respeto el 80% lo tiene adecuado, el 20% inadecuado. El 81% de los estudiantes presentó una autoaceptación adecuado y el 19% inadecuada. El 82% presentó una afectotimia adecuada, el 18% inadecuado. Existe asociación entre el inadecuado autoconcepto, autorespeto y la autoaceptación y haber tenido una afectotimia inadecuada (p< 0,05). Con respeto a la concepción que tiene cada estudiante de sus relaciones personales también se obtuvo una significancia estadística. Conclusiones: Los estudiantes tienen una adecuada autoestima y son capaces de solucionar conflictos, sin embargo se encontró un número de estudiantes adolescentes con autoestima inadecuada medida con cada una de sus características ya nombradas, presentan una afectotimia y relaciones interpersonales inadecuadas. De tal manera que se necesita educar, brindar tratamiento psicológico e integral acerca de la autoestima para modificar conductas de riesgo en esta población, y evitar que las relaciones interpersonales no sean las más adecuadas.
其他摘要：Objective: To determine the influence of self-esteem (self-concept, self-respect and selfbelief) and interpersonal relationships among freshmen in the College of health science at the University of North, Barranquilla. Methodology: This is a descriptive study with a sample of 100 freshmen from the school of Medicine and Nursing. The study used a self-developed questionnaire and the 16 PF test of personality. The variables in study were: demographic information, self-esteem (measures of self-concept, self-respect, and self-belief) and affectoniate. Results: The demographics show that the average age of the sample was eighteen and a half years old, 71% of the sample were females and 29% were males. The results indicated that 73% of the sample presented an adequate self-concept, while the remaining percentage of the sample presented an inadequate self-concept. In regards to the measure of self-belief, 81% presented an adequate self-belief, and the 19% of self-belief was inadequate. Moreover, the 82% of the sample presented adequate affectoniate while the 18% was inadequate. The poor self-concept, self-respect and self-belief appear to be associated with inadequate interpersonal relationships (p<0.05). The report of the students negative conception of his/her interpersonal relationships was of valuable significance as it allowed to identify a high-risk factor early in college. Conclusions: The majority of freshmen had an adequate self-esteem and interpersonal relationships. Further, the study determine that, even the small percentage of reported inadequate self-esteem and interpersonal relationships, there is a need of a multidisciplinary intervention early in college to protect against misleading conducts of the students total health.
