摘要：No processo de renovação das políticas públicas de saúde, a reforma psiquiátrica representa um movimento antipsiquiátrico, cujos eixos principais são a descentralização e a humanização do cuidado. Este estudo teve como objetivos: estabelecer o significado da humanização da assistência para os profissionais de Enfermagem do setor de psiquiatria do Hospital de Clínicas da Universidade Federal de Uberlândia; e também identificar, para aqueles profissionais, a utilização desse conceito nas rotinas de trabalho. A pesquisa foi desenvolvida a partir de uma abordagem qualitativa (fenomenológica). Foram realizadas entrevistas individuais e voluntárias, envolvendo nove profissionais de enfermagem (auxiliares, técnicos e enfermeiros). As percepções dos profissionais investigados foram similares quanto ao significado de humanização do cuidado. As respostas foram classificadas na categoria Humanização como valorização do interior do ser/do humano. Isso sugere que os entrevistados interiorizaram o princípio de integralidade para os atendimentos prestados. Com relação às ações que contribuem para a implantação da proposta de humanização no setor, os entrevistados destacaram: a atenção dispensada aos pacientes durante a internação, o acompanhamento extra-hospitalar, os estímulos à ressocialização e a realização de oficinas e lazer. Concluiu-se que os profissionais pesquisados têm um significado claro sobre o cuidar humanizado e que procuram aplicar essa visão no seu dia-a-dia.
其他摘要：In the process of renewal of the public health politics, the psychiatric reform represents an anti-psychiatric movement, whose main axes are the decentralization and the humanization of the care. This study aimed to: establish the meaning of the humanization of the assistance for the Nursing professionals of the psychiatry sector of the Hospital das Clínicas, which belongs to Universidade Federal de Uberlândia, Minas Gerais/Brazil; and to identify the use of this concept in the work routines. The research was developed from a qualitative aproach (phenomenology). Individual and voluntary interviews have been carried through, involving nine nursing professionals (assistant, technician and nurses). The perceptions of the investigated professionals were similar concerning to the meaning of human care. The answers were classified in the Humanization category as valuation of the inside of the human being. This suggests that the ones interviewed assimilated the principle of integrity for the given care. With regard to the actions that contribute for the implantation of the proposal humanization of the sector, the ones interviewed pointed out: the care given to the patients during the internment, the extrahospital accompaniment, the stimulations to make them sociable again and the accomplishment of workshops and leisure. It was concluded that the professionals considered have a clear understanding of the humanized care e try to apply this vision during their daily routine.
