摘要：A través de una metodología fundamentada en el método multivariante de análisis de factores se determinó el nivel de cibermetría en los estudiantes de III Etapa de la escuela Básica y cómo influye ese nivel de cibermetría en el mejoramiento de la calidad educativa. Se aplicó un muestreo representado por los directores, docentes y estudiantes de las escuelas públicas durante el período escolar 2003-2004. Se determinó que el nivel de cibermetría es muy difícil de medir cuando sólo está presente un indicador. Se estableció que el uso dado a las TICs es mayoritariamente administrativo y no educativo. La metodología formulada resultó válida, el nivel cibermétrico fue aceptable debido al alto grado de impacto y popularidad que presentan las TICs. A pesar dela limitación presupuestaria de las instituciones éstas se las arreglan para tener acceso al software y hardware mínimo para trabajar, mayormente en lo administrativo y no educativo. Es importante la adopción de las TICs en la educación para el desarrollo de cursos y de programas de estudios nuevos y dinámicos. La reforma educativa pasa por la capacitación de los docentes y el desarrollo de nuevos materiales de aprendizaje en diversos formatos, utilizando en lo posible tecnología informática interactiva
其他摘要：Through a methodology based on the multi-variant method of analysis of factors, the cybermetric level of students in Stage III of Basic school was determined as well as how this level influences the improvement of educational quality. The analysis was applied to a sample of directors, teachers and students in the state schools during the scholastic period 2003-2004. Once determined that the cyber-metric level is very difficult to measure when only one indicator is present, it was determined that the use given to the cyber-metric level. CITs (TICs) are mainly administrative and non-educative. The formulated methodology was valid; the cyber-metric level was acceptable due to the high degree of impact and popularity that the CITs presento In spite of the budgetary limitations of the institutions, these allow them to have access to software and minimum hardware to work, mainly in administrative matters. The adoption ofthe CITs in education for the development of courses and new and dynamic training programs is important. Educative reform as far as possible includes training of teachers and the development of new learning materials in diverse formats, using interactive informative technology when possible
