摘要：By 2019, Russia could become the world’s top wheat exporter, and Russian, Ukrainian, and Kazakhstan wheat exports collectively could more than double those of the United States. Growth in the former Soviet Union’s grain production and exports may increase world food availability and, in the near term, help mitigate global food security concerns. U.S. wheat production is leveling off, as U.S. producers shift acreage to benefit from competitive advantages in corn and soybeans.
