摘要：O ensaio visa recuperar algumas indicações ontológicas sobre a estrutura sincrética do Serviço Social, tal como formulada por José Paulo Netto no início da década de 1990, para problematizar o significado social, para a profissão, de determinadas tendências inscritas na atual dinâmica econômica e política do Brasil. Procura fundamentar a atualidade e o vigor teórico da "tese do sincretismo" para analisar os dilemas contemporâneos do Serviço Social brasileiro.
其他摘要：This article aims at recovering some ontological indications about the syncretic structure of Social Work, as it was formulated by José Paulo Netto in the beginning of the 1950's, in order to question the social significance of some tendencies in the current economic and political Brazilian dynamics for the profession. It seeks to base the effective value and the technical vigour of the "thesis of syncretism" to analyze the contemporary dilemmas of the Brazilian Social Work.
