摘要：O presente estudo investiga as relações entre a vinculação, a sintomatologia psicopatológica e o bem-estar entre estudantes que frequentam o primeiro ano do Ensino Superior. Mais especificamente, as hipóteses exploradas foram (1) a segurança da vinculação à mãe, ao pai e a outra pessoa significativa está associada negativamente à emergência de sintomatologia psicopatológica no final do 1.º semestre; e (2) a segurança da vinculação à mãe, ao pai e a outra pessoa significativa está associada positivamente ao bem-estar no final do 1.º semestre. Um total de 316 estudantes da Universidade de Aveiro preencheu a escala Avaliação de Relações Significativas, o Brief Symptom Inventory e a Échelle de Mesure des Manifestations du Bien-Être Psychologique. O evitamento em relação à mãe, ao pai e a outra pessoa significativa correlacionou-se de forma significativa e positiva com a sintomatologia psicopatológica e de forma significativa e negativa com o bem-estar. A ansiedade relativamente a outra pessoa significativa correlacionou-se de forma significativa e positiva com a sintomatologia psicopatológica e de forma significativa e negativa com o bem-estar. Na globalidade, os resultados sugerem que compreender as relações entre a vinculação e o ajustamento psicológico pode ser importante para facilitar a transição e adaptação ao ensino superior.
其他摘要：This study investigates the relationships between attachment, psychological symptomatology and well-being among first year higher education students. More specifically, the hypotheses explored were (1) the security of the attachment to the mother, father and other significant person is negatively associated with the emergence of psychological symptomatology at the end of first semester; and (2) the security of the attachment to the mother, father and other significant person is positively associated with well-being at the end of first semester. A total of 316 first year higher education students completed the Avaliação de Relações Significativas, Brief Symptom Inventory and Echelle de Mesure des Manifestations du Bien-Etre Psychologique. Avoidance in relation to the mother, father and other significant person was positively and significantly correlated with psychological symptomatology and negatively and significantly correlated with well-being. Anxiety relative to the other significant person was positively and significantly correlated with psychological symptomatology and negatively and significantly correlated with well-being. Overall, the results suggest that understanding the relationships between attachment and psychological adjustment may be important in facilitating the transition and adjustment to higher education.
