Este trabalho tem o objetivo de analisar a educação dos corpos infantis na revista Pais & Filhos, buscando compreender que ideal de infância é legitimado pela mesma. Investiga as representações sociais dos corpos infantis no período de 1968 a 1977, quando a publicação se considerava "a revista mensal da família moderna", utilizando a teoria das representações sociais como principal referencial. Os resultados apontam para representações dos corpos infantis objetivadas pela imagem da fábrica moderna, marcados por um ideal de beleza, e classificados através da oposição entre saúde e doença e entre normalidade e anormalidade.

This paper aims to analyze the education of children's bodies in Pais & Filhos magazine, trying to understand what ideal of childhood is legitimized by it. The study investigates the social representations of children's bodies in the period from 1968 to 1977 when the publication was considered "the monthly magazine of the modern family", using the theory of social representations as the main reference. The results indicate representations of children's bodies objectified by the image of the modern factory, marked by an ideal of beauty, and classified by the opposition between health and disease and between normality and abnormality.
