O texto oferece subsídios para uma compreensão da produção cultural de nossa época e as relações sociais que adultos e crianças estabelecem com a mídia. O fundamento teórico-metodológico desta investigação tem como base a teoria de Mikhail Bakhtin, especialmente a relação dialógica e alteritária do adulto com a criança, além de ter como eixo de análise a brincadeira, aspecto fundamental da linguagem na interação da criança com a televisão. A proposta é oferecer subsídios para projetos educacionais voltados à formação de leitores críticos dos meios de comunicação de massa, especialmente no que diz respeito aos produtos de televisão para o público infantil.

This article offers subsidy for understanding the contemporary cultural production and the social relationship of adults and children with the media. The theoretic- methodological ground of this research is based on Mikhail Bakhtin's theory, especially the dialogic and authoritative relationship of the adult with the child, besides having the play as the base of the analysis, fundamental aspect of the language in the interaction of the child with the television. The proposal is to offer subsidy for educational projects turned to the formation of critical readers of the mass media communication, mainly with regards to the television programs aimed to the infant public.
